Batman doesn’t eat pie

Chef’s Note:  Damian very authoritatively asserts here that “Batman doesn’t eat pie.” And, at least in this current instance, it appears to be true – his is the only slice untouched.*

But we must ask why? Why doesn’t Batman eat pie?

We know he enjoys burritos and soup and pizza and fajitas and burgers and banana french toast and more burgers and even more burgers and yes also nachos (despite protestations to the contrary).

So, why not pie? And apple pie at that? Is it not the food of the unvanquished?

* Quite rude, Batman. Lois invites you into her house to dine with her family, this despite your creepy lurking in a drafty old barn on their property – she serves you PIE and COFFEE with an enormous amount of grace and you…?  You just sit there like a moody goth teenage statue. It’s like Alfred taught you nothing at all of social graces.
