Chef’s Note: Does Batman invite every street rat he encounters to a burger date?
How many Robins are there anyhow?
Chef’s Note: What burger joint is Batman patronizing here? It’s not Batburger and it’s not Big Belly. The bag sports an odd logo with “RADU’s” as a name.
Thus far, I have been unable to find any reference to such an establishment in my research, DC universe or otherwise. You would think that whatever burger joint Batman chooses, it would likely be a well known one. But apparently not.
That said, whatever joint it is, they are serving hoagie-sized burgers! Look at those things! I don’t think Jason is in danger of losing a finger because there’s too much burger in the way.
Any assistance readers might provide concerning this Radu’s would be most welcome. Mr. Lobdell &/or Mr. Soy are also most welcome to provide this essential information. Contact me!
Chef’s Note: Happy National Hamburger Day!

Quietly realistic, 4 stars (★★★★)
Green Lantern Kyle Rayner used to go to Radu’s Coffee Shop in New York. Perhaps he expanded to sandwiches and franchised out to Gotham.

Most interesting! Thanks kindly for the information, Steve!
This really does makes me wonder if those are, indeed, burgers. Not sure now why I assumed they were? My lack of scholarly rigor here is most embarrassing.
And on National Hamburger Day no less.
