Chef’s Note: The existence of Bat Burger is a fascinating thing. One would assume such a blatantly exploitative commercial endeavor would get shut down quickly. Surely, Batman &/or Bruce Wayne would do something about it, right?
But then, Batman isn’t a legal entity and, therefore, can’t engage in any legal proceedings. And Bruce Wayne can’t risk the association lest his secret identity be revealed. Well done, owner of Bat Burger! That is some top shelf bamboozle!
There’s also the question of some of the menu items, particularly the featured Jokerize seasoning for fries. Are the citizens of Gotham so utterly traumatized and de-sensitized by years of super-powered conflicts that they simply accept (& eat!) crappy fast food entrees named for serial killers, mass murderers, and domestic terrorists? Also, how has the Joker* or any of these other trademark-violated villains not already burned this place to the ground?
Actually, forget citizens or villains- JASON TODD even likes his fries Jokerized. You know, the Jason Todd who the Joker beat nearly to death with a crowbar and then followed it up by murdering his mom.
Is everything all right, Tom King? Anything you need to talk about?
Chef’s Note: No, I am not saying anything about Robin Nuggets.
Chef’s Note: The really important thing revealed here is that Batman eats his burger & fries with an is-this-really-happening knife and fork. There are many strange things about Batman but this really takes the proverbial bat-cake. Especially when you consider that he must carry such silverware around with him as fast food joints rarely offer anything other than plastic ware. But then, what’s a utility belt for, right? Weirdo.
Chef’s Note: Actually, what would the Jokerize seasoning be made of? It’s like, white and red and, y’know, green. It appears to be a sprinkle of some sort (see Fig. 1, right), not a powder or sauce. Chilis? Red & green chilis and… rock salt?
I’d eat that.
