Chef’s Note:  Happy National Cotton Candy Day!

Chef’s Note:  While it is true that here on Earth we do not have cotton candy that grows on trees, we do have the next best thing.

I slept on this series, and didn’t read it until years after it was complete. I missed out. It is a fantastic story of love and loss, high concept sci-fi action and intimate emotional moments, it’s easy enough for kids of all ages to get into, but advanced enough that adults will be able to sink their teeth into it. I am not a fan of Slott’s writing, and Allred has niche appeal, but when they worked together on this they created something amazing.
