Chef’s Note: Not sure why Jubilee is worried about Logan getting an upset stomach, given his legendary healing abilities. I think it would take more than cheap beer and strawberry vanilla to give him the tummy rumbles.
Also, has she never heard of a beer ice cream float?
Beer and ice cream may not be an intuitive pairing, but they go together surprisingly well – especially malty brews like ambers, brown ales, and chocolate stouts. Though some hop-forward beers might work, maltier ones are more likely to provide sweeter success.
One of the easiest and most common ways to combine ice cream and beer is by creating a beer ice cream float. Simply add a chocolatey stout to a glass filled with scoops of vanilla ice cream.
Chef’s Note: I say “cheap beer” simply because we have seen this is Logan’s preference in general. That said, I cannot figure out what cheap beer it is exactly and the cans only give a giant letter H as a clue. Same for the ice cream – a giant letter C doesn’t exactly help narrow it down.
