Chef’s Note: Recently, we discussed how disappointing it was to hear The Flash announce he was making Shrimp Scampi for a dinner party but then we never get to see it happen.
Upon a recent re-reading of the same issue, however, I did discover this moment of impressive food hospitality on Barry’s part.
What does he do when he learns Detective Morillo already has dinner plans? He goes ahead and speedily delivers exactly the kind of pizza Morilla’s wife wanted him to get – even springing for double cheese.
That is some classy superheroing, I must say.
Chef’s Note: Cal’s Pizza was a real pizza joint in Detroit, and folks at the time shared Barry’s opinion.
It closed sometime in mid-2009.
