Chef’s Note: Here we see Gert and Molly try to solve a rather difficult alimentary problem. Gib is a god whose only form of sustenance is the human souls of sacrificial victims – not exactly something you can pick up at the convenience store.
It was a good hypothesis: that self sacrifice might serve in the place of ritual sacrifice. But unfortunately, a foregone double cheeseburger – even one with extra pickles – does not apparently provide the recommended daily allowance of homo sapien psyche that a growing Gibborim needs.
Maybe he should try eating one without the wrapper?
