Chef’s Note: There’s so much going on here it’s hard to know where to begin.
- First: Is there any universe in which The Punisher is going to prefer regular to crunchy peanut butter? I say no.
- Second: “But all I’ve got with me is the Glock 9.” Is there any universe in which The Punisher has a quite lethal firearm on his person and decides not to use it? What the heck?
- Third: “I can’t let these lice rob the store where I shop.” We’ve seen this loyalty before. It is a notable superhero trait and we should probably come up with a good organizational tag for use in this very serious scholarly project.
- Fourth: “Woo! Is he dead?” “Yeah, but the lobster’s all right.” Ha! Frank is nothing if not funny!
Last of all, it is most interesting to hear Frank, of all people, express squeamishness over killing lobsters by boiling them alive, given the amount of pain and mayhem he has personally unleashed on the world.
But it is important to note that Frank does what does because he believes it is necessary – that there is no other option.
Luckily there are certainly other options when it comes to cooking lobster.
