Chef’s Note: How do you forget a hamburger in your pocket? This is a very reasonable question to ask. But Miles’ response is also quite reasonable. Not about the hamburger in his pocket, but about his regular need for calories-
A significant amount of the body’s growth begins to take place around ages 10-12 and peaks around 13-14. Because a teen’s body is growing and developing so much at this time, they have higher metabolic needs. … Boys typically require about 2,500-3,000 calories a day at this age to help with their rapid growth.
I remember being a teenager – a couple of breakfasts and at least two to four lunches was totally normal for me.
Did I ever carry a hamburger in my pocket? You know I did! I was starving all the time!
Chef’s Note: The other thing of interest here is the question of what kind of pockets do they have on a Spider-Man suit? Because it doesn’t seem like any kind of pocket that produces the bulge a hamburger would create. Are they magic pockets?
