Chef’s Note: The character of the Angry Chef is a common one, as is that of the apathetic greasy spoon cook. As archetypal opposites, an encounter between them will always produce conflict.
In this instance, though, culinary incompetence does not merely bring on anger and outrage. Instead it begets terrifying and monstrous transformation.
Still, using powdered eggs for an omelette does warrant a strong response and Adelbert certainly provides one.
