Chef’s Note: Here is a curious and frustrating scene. At least it if you are a comic-book food archaeologist – but I think all good peoples can sympathize.
Greer orders eight(!) eggs and is clear about wanting them raw. We then see the waitress put down a plate/shallow dish.
It obviously does not have Jessica’s stack of pancakes and crispy bacon so I think it safe to assume it contains Greer’s raw eggs.
Greer drops her sunglasses down, gets up, gives Jessica a nice cosmic pep talk with a lot of sustained eye-contact & hand-holding, drops a fat tip, and then… walks out the door?
What about the eggs?! We could have had a real Rocky Balboa moment here.
Chef’s Note: The Cheyenne Diner was a real diner in Hell’s Kitchen. It closed in 2008.
Chef’s Note: I’d be very interested in trying the hot sauce on their table. Does anyone know a source for Human Scorch?
