Chef’s Note: “A culinary achievement mastered nowhere else in the universe” is a rather extraordinary thing to claim about any Terran food, even something as amazing as pizza. But then, Firelord is a former herald of Galactus, wielder of the Power Cosmic, etcetera etcetera, so he’s been around and probably knows what he’s talking about.
And there is little doubt that pizza is a culinary achievement of global significance, so why not cosmic as well? It’s all very scientific-
Pizza toppings are also packed with a compound called glutamate… When glutamate hits our tongues, it tells our brains to get excited — and to crave more of it. This compound actually causes our mouths to water in anticipation of the next bite.
Still, Firelord could likely benefit from some basic lessons in dining etiquette – opening instead of smashing down doors, no melting of ovens, less acting like a pompous dick, and so on – if for no other reason than it will get him more pizza to feast on and less of being punched in the face repeatedly by Spider-Man.*
