Chef’s Note: Here’s the thing about this scene: Gamora & Peter talk (and smooch) for more than a few minutes here, right? I mean, I included the whole clip so I think that’s obvious.
So! If we are to take Drax at his word, and I think we should because he does tend to be hyper-literal, then we have to acknowledge that he has actually been standing there the entire time: effectively invisible to the eye.
His invisibility was only disrupted by his hunger for a Zarg nut and the resulting crunch. Betrayed by a snack!
