Chef’s Note: We were recently discussing the question of using food/food-items as weapons and what do you know? Here this delightful scene of the lovely Ms. Jessica Drew weaponizing an entire bag of groceries comes across my very scholarly desk!
There was the question of what kind of catalog tag should be applied to such moments and I think we’re going to go with food-fight for the time being. I think this adequately encapsulates what we’re looking for and it offers new avenues for comic-book food archaeological research!
Chef’s Note: OK, back to the real issues. There’s a “can of soup” specifically noted – unfortunately no specific soup named, but still – at least we know a can of soup was involved. What other food items can we discern?
Tomato, eggplant, zucchini, potato, bottle of ketchup, and… jar of olives maybe? Perhaps a tinned ham in there too? Also, not food, but there’s a can of roach spray as well. And what the heck is Goldbug getting hit in the face with: cocktail wieners?
And then there’s this little nightmare smirking at us from the bottom left:
WTH? Gives off Jokerized Fries vibes, no?
