Chef’s Note: As we have seen before, superheroes quite often must forgo the meals they have planned due to superhero business interrupting.
Here we see poor Kamala Khan trying to have a slumber party with her besties and get her snack on.
But every time she’s on the verge of doing so she gets waylaid ( re: · · · ), first by giant teleporting dog, then by an Inhuman who really got a bum hand dealt to them, and finally by a dopey teenage boy. Will she ever get to enjoy her Ammi’s chota samosas or does Nakia eat them all?
Look at how happy she is when things are going well!
Chef’s Note: Of course, the real question here is what does Ammi put in her chota samosas to make them so heavenly? After all, chota just means “small” and samosas come in so many varieties.
I’m going to guess Qeema style, given Kamala’s Pakistani heritage.
Alas, despite there being over a half-dozen storytellers involved here, not a single one of them cared to comment on or illustrate this important detail. We don’t even get to find out what pizza toppings they couldn’t agree on.
Sigh.
