Chef’s Note: It never fails to amaze me how powerful a thing making a meal for someone can be and this is an excellent example.
Here we have the quintessential servant (so much so they named a robot after him) finally being given a chance to sit back and enjoy a meal not made with his own hands – a rare privilege for those in the buttling profession.
Aunt May certainly seems to have a singular ability to size people up – it took her all of a second to see who Jarvis was (a good man), what he needed (a seat at the table), and then set about making it happen (hit the road, Old Grump Logan!).
Don’t mess with little old ladies!
