Chef’s Note: There is a simple lesson to be learned here: when a cosmic entity requests pie, even one with as dubious a name as Captain Universe, it is best to simply get them some pie. Granted, pie is not that easy to make. But I think we can all agree that it’s a proverbial piece of cake when viewed in the light of imminent molecular disintegration.
Chef’s Note: How do we know it’s blueberry pie that is being requested? Elementary, dear reader! Captain Universe’s costume employs a pan-galactic representation of the cosmos. And what does that look like? Correct! It looks an awful lot like a bunch of blueberries. Coincidence? I don’t think so.
