Chef’s Note: As with many methods of culinary assassination, one must ask whether it would be simpler to just use a gun or some other traditional means of murder.
While it is true that a scorpion could survive a few moments submerged in alcohol, I think its presence in a glass of tequlia would be more than a little noticeable, if for no other reason than it would be thrashing around trying not to drown.
Also, someone should inform Tequila that she currently has a market rival: Scorpion Mezcal.
Chef’s Note: Happy National Tequila Day!

LOL… comic books. People notice pulp in their drinks, but this woman killed a bunch of guys by getting them to swallow an entire scorpion without noticing? Riii-ight. Like he wouldn’t have seen it trying to climb up out of his glass as she handed it to him.
clink, clank, clunk
looks in glass, sees pincers reaching for the surface, moving ice cubes about.
“is that a scorpion in my glass?”
“we… uh… ran out of worms?”
“Were you trying to kill me?”
“Look if you aren’t manly enough to drink a scorpion, I’ll go find someone who is.”
“yeah, we’re done here.”
Scorpion clears the rim of the glass, drunkenly skitters away under the sofa to sleep it off.
