Chef’s Note: I am most curious as to what goes into Krakoan gazpacho? There’s the standard cold tomato & vegetable soup, but then there’s also fruity varieties, as well as the original Andalusian stale bread mash up.
This seems not to be very bready – quite clear, in fact – more a drink than a soup. It looks golden in color, but perhaps that’s just the sunset, or maybe even the glassware itself.
Of course, Craig and Ororo are so busy with the flanter and batting their eyelashes at each other that neither of them even remarks* on the flavor of this amuse-bouche.
You might wonder if amuse-bouche is just a fancier version of hors d’oeuvres, those quick one-bite appetizers like deviled eggs or phyllo cups served before meals. Not exactly. Though both are small bites, amuse-bouche serves a distinct purpose by offering a glimpse into the chef’s ingenuity and the restaurant’s overarching culinary vision. These dishes often highlight fresh, natural flavors and feature simple yet elegant presentations.
Chef’s Note: Speaking of amusements, it is quite funny to hear that Victor never removed his faceplate while dining with Ororo. Maybe she should have insulted him more.
Chefs Note: Happy National Gazpacho Day!
