Chef’s Note:  We have noted before that forgoing a meal is a common sacrifice among superheroes.

Not so for Mr. Allen here, who has all the time in the world to enjoy his meal. And who also cryptically notes that this whole situation of waitstaff tripping and dropping food everywhere happens to him “all the time”…?

In any case, apparently one of the fringe benefits of super-speed is being able to have your pie, eat it too*, and have Superman pay the bill.

* And yes, I mean “have pie and eat it too” literally, because Barry’s super-speed somehow also magically duplicates desserts around him. Note there is one slice of cherry pie on the tray when the waitress stumbles, the one he ordered. He retrieves this slice from falling and eats it while chatting with Clark. However, at the end of their conversation, there is another slice of cherry pie hanging in the air behind him, and it is one of the things he places on the table at the end of his super-speed save, along with a slice of chocolate cake (?) out of nowhere as well. WTH
